“I create nutrition plans that best suit each individual, and I assist my clients in navigation through the world of nutrition information, advancing towards their health goals by slowly integrating seeds of achievable change.

I am a Certified Nutrition Educator. I am currently working at The Institute for Traditional Acupuncture and Herbology in Corte Madera, CA. I studied Holistic Nutrition at Bauman College and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston.

Dedicated to supporting people as they improve their health and lives, I employ a realistic approach to health that stems from my own journey to wellness. I create nutrition plans that best suit each individual, and I assist my clients in navigation through the world of nutrition information, advancing towards their health goals by slowly integrating seeds of achievable change. I emphasize the integrative use of whole, natural, organic foods into the diet first, and then I may incorporate appropriate supplements to restore balance. I utilize a supportive, educational approach that helps advance my client’s health goals.

Having been a type 1 diabetic for nine years, I’ve developed a passion and expertise in the area of nutrition therapy for diabetes and blood sugar regulation. I have controlled my blood sugars and improved my health through my studies and personal trials. My own journey has given me insight and knowledge to help those struggling with similar issues. And through my studies as a diabetic, I have learned of the impacts that good nutritional decisions have on those dealing with other diseases. Through nutrition education, I want to help people take control of their health, impart knowledge for optimal wellness, help them regain their energy and restore vitality.
