Rethink Your Drink
educational series in Santa Rosa Classrooms   March 1st-March 5th, 2010

In partnership with the Network for a Healthy California and the Santa Rosa City School District, Bauman College will lead a team of Nutrition Educators into Elsie Allen High School classrooms to give nutrition presentations on Rethink Your Drink. Favorite props include a 6 lb bag of fat (affectionately termed the "soda fat baby"). We look forward to educating our youth on the detriments of unhealthy sugar consumption.

Now Enrolling for Spring 2010 Programs

We are now enrolling for the Spring 2010 classroom programs.
Classroom courses fill on a first-come first-served basis. You must first apply and be accepted in order to enroll. Early application and enrollment is the only way to guarantee a space in the course, section, and location of your choice.

Schedules for the Bauman College Spring 2010 programs are posted on the individual program pages and through the Schedules link under the Prospective Student tab.

Enrollment for our Distance Learning programs is ongoing and does not incur Late Enrollment Fees.

The following will give you a general idea of the enrollment process.
Note: basic computer skills required for all programs. Please review the FAQ page
for more details.

1) Application
To apply to the Nutrition Educator and Natural Chef training programs, fill out the Bauman College Application and Questionnaire or utilize the application from the back of our catalog.

Apply for classroom courses by February 5, 2010 so your application can be processed in time to avoid a Late Enrollment Fee of $75.

2) Submitting Your Application Materials
Please mail your application to:
Bauman College Admissions
PO Box 940
Penngrove, CA 94951

Note: Bauman College will not process faxed or incomplete applications.

3) Acceptance

4) Enrollment
To complete enrollment students must mail their enrollment packet and payment to the Penngrove Bauman College location for processing.

All enrollments after February 19, 2010 will incur a $75.00 Late Enrollment Fee. Apply and enroll early to avoid this fee, and to guarantee a space in the class.

5) Class Begins
Classroom students should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for the first class in order to get settled in the classroom. Distance Learning students will have a Welcome Call with the Distance Learning Administrator for orientation to the program.

6) Textbooks and Materials
Students must purchase most of their textbooks and materials independently. Please refer to the Materials Lists below, which detail all required textbooks and materials. Classroom students will receive their Bauman College provided materials on the first day of class. Distance Learning students will receive their Bauman College provided materials via UPS upon enrollment.

Other textbooks and materials must be purchased independently. The cost of materials varies considerably depending on where they are purchased. The Bauman College Online Book Store carries all required books available new and used at a discount, with free shipping on orders over $25.00.

Students should have required textbooks on the first day of class.

Natural Chef students do not need to have other required materials (knives, kitchen, or clothing items) before the program begins. Students will have two weeks to make these purchases after they are discussed in the first class.
